Jalandhar, Feb 22,2021: Kanya Maha Vidyalaya- the Heritage & Autonomous institution, Seat of Women Empowerment with Top National and State Rankings by India Today Survey of Best Colleges 2020 (various categories) & Outlook Magazine always work for the overall growth of the students. In an another initiative, Pranav NaadClub under the aegis of Department of Performing Arts keeps on organising various activities so that the budding and talented students should be given an able platform to showcase their talent and their devotion towards music and art. Under this series, Pranav Naadclub organised a special program during which the students of music gave musical presentations through different musical instruments. Ms Hema, a student of MA Music(Instrumental) played RaagNat Bhairav melodiously on sitar, whereas Ms Harshpreet played RaagBihaag very beautifully. Principal Prof Dr Atima Sharma Dwivedi averred that music is the food of the soul and is a very important component of our lives. She further maintained that these kind of programs aids in creating curiosity in the minds of the students. Madam Principal lauded the efforts of Dr Poonam Sharma, Head, PG Department of Music and other faculty members for successfully organising the program. Dr Madhumeet, Dean, Department of Student Welfare was also present on the occasion.
