MP Parneet Kaur appreciates the novel idea of Divisional Commissioner
Patiala, September 14, 2020: Divisional Commissioner Patiala Chander Gaind has launched a unique initiative under `Mission Fateh’ to facilitate corona warriors by arranging `guard on honour’ for them at his official residence on Monday. In a special honouring ceremony 12 doctors and 24 para-medical staff members were facilitated with a guard of honour by a Patiala police consignment.

DEPUTY COMMISSIONER CALLS FOR EARLY TESTING AND TREATMENT TO SAVE PRECIOUS LIVES AMID PANDEMIC
Member Parliament Parneet Kaur joined the ceremony through video conference as hailed the efforts of divisional commissioner Chander Gaind to recognize the services rendered by the medical staff during these trying times.
She further added that doctors, nursing staff, police personals, Aanganwadi workers, Asha workers, and sanitization workers have played a crucial role in the ongoing war against the Corona Virus pandemic and this act of recognition would further encourage them to put more efforts in this battle.
MP Parneet Kaur called upon people to come forward and participate in `Mission Fateh’ by following the safety precautions of maintaining social distancing, washing hands, and wearing masks, etc.
Meanwhile, Divisional Commissioner Chander Gaind said that all corona warriors would be facilitated turn by turn including NGOs, Asha Workers, Anganwadi workers, and others.
He urged the deputy commissioners of his division to follow the same course in their respective districts.
Deputy Commissioner Patiala Kumar Amit also urged people to come forward for early testing and treatment of Covid-19 to save precious lives amid pandemic.
He said that people should visit the nearest health centers whenever they develop any influenza-like illness.
District and Session Judge Patiala Rajinder Aggarwal while hailing the novel efforts said that it was need of the hour to facilitate our corona warriors who have dedicated themselves in the service to humanity.
IG Patiala Range Jatinder Singh Aulakh and SSP Vikramjit Singh Duggal said that it was a matter of pride for the police department for getting this opportunity to present guard of honour to hour corona warriors and ensured that such ceremonies would be continued in the future also.
Prominent amongst others present on the occasion were Surbhi Malik In-charge COVID Care Rajinder Hospital, Pooja Siyal Grewal ADC (G), Assistant Commissioner Dr. Ishmat Vijay Singh, and Civil Surgeon Dr. Harish Malhotra.
