Chandigarh, February 27, 2021: To expand public transport facility in Faridabad, Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, Krishan Pal Gurjar and Haryana Transport Minister, Sh. Mool Chand Sharma today flagged off CNG city buses plying for Faridabad city.
He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister, Manohar Lal has been making consistent efforts for all-round development in the state for the last 6 years. Besides focusing on development in every field, the State Government has left no stone unturned to empower common people. He said that this city bus service to Faridabad will be pollution-free and environment-friendly. This initiative will be effective in saving money and time, he added.
He said that the people who have been using other transport facilities will now travel through this city bus service. Besides saving money and time, it will also lead to environmental protection. These 10 CNG buses will operate on different routes in Ballabhgarh, Greater Faridabad, Old Faridabad, NIT Metro, Railway stations and other public places across Faridabad city.
