New Delhi: 15 April 2020: Delhi Government has partnered with CallDoc app to launch 24×7 free online medical consultation services in Delhi to help patients connect with doctors remotely via a mobile app for their non-emergency medical needs. Through this, patients can easily consult with General Physicians as well as Specialists from home at any time convenient to them.
Announcing this collaboration, Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain said, “Delhi government is glad to collaborate with CallDoc app to bring 24×7 online medical consultations for free to the people of Delhi. This will save the trouble of physical travel for regular OPD visits, especially to senior citizens. We are proud of the 100+ doctors from Delhi who are offering their services for free via this App.”
The outbreak of COVID-19 has put a lot of pressure on the healthcare infrastructure of all states, including Delhi. Delhi government is working round the clock to ensure that all citizen’s medical needs are supported. It is likely that the outbreak of this virus has made it difficult for people to visit hospitals and doctors, on non-emergency medical issues. The CallDoc app will help people in such situations, while at the same time reducing the chances of transmission at hospitals and clinics.
CallDoc is a cloud-based platform created by Oncall Medicare Pvt. Ltd. to provide citizens with better and faster healthcare at any time and place of their convenience. The user is able to connect to Doctor on Video /Audio/Chat and get the consultation on phone by using this mobile app. It saves time that is spent in the waiting room and allows patients to consult leading doctors and avail instant treatment for non-emergency conditions. As part of this collaboration, over 100 doctors have been onboarded by Delhi Government on the CallDoc app who will provide free and hassle-free consultations to any patient. These comprise of doctors affiliated to Delhi Medical Council, as well as doctors from Delhi government’s University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) and Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC).

1. Patient downloads the app
2. Selects the doctor on the basis of Name, Speciality etc.
3. Mentions the purpose of consultation
4. Upload reports directly thru Camera or Gallery
5. Proceed with call which is Video, audio and text
6. As per mutual convenience can opt for any medium
7. After the call is successfully closed patient receives prescription
