New Delhi:  15 April 2020:  Delhi Government has partnered with CallDoc app to launch 24×7 free online medical consultation services in Delhi to help patients connect with doctors remotely via a mobile app for their non-emergency medical needs. Through this, patients can easily consult with General Physicians as well as Specialists from home at any time convenient to them.
Announcing this collaboration, Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain said, “Delhi government is glad to collaborate with CallDoc app to bring 24×7 online medical consultations for free to the people of Delhi. This will save the trouble of physical travel for regular OPD visits, especially to senior citizens. The outbreak of COVID-19 has put a lot of pressure on the healthcare infrastructure of all states, including Delhi. Delhi government is working round the clock to ensure that all citizen’s medical needs are supported. It is likely that the outbreak of this virus has made it difficult for people to visit hospitals and doctors, on non-emergency medical issues. The user is able to connect to Doctor on Video /Audio/Chat and get the consultation on phone by using this mobile app. It saves time that is spent in the waiting room and allows patients to consult leading doctors and avail instant treatment for non-emergency conditions. Through the app, patients can upload their test reports for Doctor’s review and Doctors can upload prescriptions after consultation. “CallDoc” app can be downloaded from Google Play Store and ioS store or by clicking http://onelink.to/unkk7m.
As part of this collaboration, over 100 doctors have been onboarded by Delhi Government on the CallDoc app who will provide free and hassle-free consultations to any patient. These comprise of doctors affiliated to Delhi Medical Council, as well as doctors from Delhi government’s University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) and Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC).
Arun Dagar, Founder & Chief Executive CallDoc app said, “That at these times when the world has been swept away by the pandemic, it becomes our solemn duty to make sure that we as a community can overcome the obstacles by joining hands and forging partnerships.
