Jalandhar December 7, 2020: District Bar Association Jalandhar decided to abstain from appearing before the Court’s work on December 8 to express solidarity and support towards the ongoing agitation of farmers against the Three Farm Acts.
It has been unanimously resolved at an Executive Committee meeting held under the Chairmanship of Gurmail Singh Lidhar, President District Bar Association Jalandhar that the┬аexecutive body fully supports the call of Bharat Bandh given by the farmers for December 8.┬а
It has been further resolved that the members of the District Bar Association ( DBA) Jalandhar shall hold a peaceful protest ( Dharna) at BMC Chowk, Jalandhar from 11,00 Am to 1.00 Pm to show solidarity with the farmers.
