These courses will develop entrepreneurship traits among students: Manbir Singh
Jalandhar May 22, 2019: With the legacy of more than 22 years in the field of education, CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan Campus added another feather in its cap by introducing new courses keeping in view the demands of the market. The new courses such as M.Sc (Mathematics), B.Tech (ECE), B.Sc (Non Medical), B.Voc (Marketing Management and IT), B.Voc (Networking and System Administrator) have been started from Academic Session 2019-20.
Throwing light over these courses, Dr. Jasdeep Kaur Dhami, Maqsudan Campus Director said, “The main aim of BSc (Non Medical) course is to develop a deeper understanding of natural laws, inquiring about the reasons and logics which help to establish methods of observation, experimentation, calculations etc. If one chooses to pursue M.Sc in Mathematics, there will be a lot many options that students will be able to choose from like Chartered Accountancy, banking, data analysis and many more. B.Tech(ECE) is now again in demand as future trend shows a huge potential in this stream as well. There is a wide range of job opportunities for ECE students throughout the world.”
Telling further about the other courses, she said, “B.Voc (Bachelor of Vocational Degree) courses are available in several fields for students who have completed their 12th standard or equivalent. These courses are largely targeted towards youth who want to enhance their employability opportunities to learn, earn and grow. The advantage of these courses is that as against common degree courses here students have multiple exit points and continued exposure to industry.”
Manbir Singh, Managing Director CT Group said that these programmes would not only focus on skilling but also develop entrepreneurship traits among students and has multiple entries and exit options as well. These courses provide low cost high quality education locally that includes both skill development as well as regular course thereby giving opportunities to the students to move directly into employment sector or move up in the higher education sector.
