Amritsar, April 28, 2022 – Department of Architecture and Department of Molecular Biology won the Inter – Department Football (Girls & Boys) championships organized under FIT INDIA Program (Govt. of India) by Guru Nanak Dev University Campus Sports. More than 300 students of various departments participated in these competitions.
Dr Amandeep Singh, Teacher In-charge, GNDU Campus Sports & Nodal Officer – GNDU FIT INDIA Program, Govt. of India said that in Girls section, Department of Physics and Department of Chemistry got second and third positions respectively. In Boys section, Computer Engg. and Technology got second position and Department of Social Scienses remained third in this championship.
On this occasion, Dr. Sukhdev Singh, Director Sports presented Trophies to the winners.
Dr. Amandeep Singh said that Inter-Department Hockey Championship will be organized in Guru Hargobind Hockey Stadium of the University from May 4 to 5.
