Jalandhar, September 6, 2018┬а( By SK.Vyas):┬аA total of 15 candidates filed nominations on the third day of making nominations for the Zila Parishad and whereas 208 candidates filed their nominations for Panchayat Samiti elections in district scheduled to be held on September 19.

Disclosing this here today District Electoral Officer┬а Varinder Kumar Sharma said that 15 nominations were received for the Zila Parishad whereas 208 nominations were received for Panchayat Samitis. He said that September 7 would be the last date for filing the nominations.┬а

┬аSharma said that the nominations would be scrutinized on September 10 while the date for withdrawal of the nominations would be September 11 which would also be the date for allotting the election symbols to the candidates. He said that the voting would be held on September 19 from 8 am till 4 pm and counting of votes would be held on September 22.┬а
